Trade Journal 04/28/2010

I do love the FOMC. But let's backtrack a little. We had the Crude Oil trade this morning at 8:30 MDT. Don got the equivalent of 2 points, Steff got 1 point, but the people who attended the Trading Arcade all averaged 1.5 points. It was a very good Crude Oil day. Onto the FOMC at 12:15 MDT! It didn't start out with massive movement but a few minutes into it it sure got exciting. I got 3 points, Don got 2 and Jerry got 1. Steff didn't trade. Overall, a good trading day. We hope that you all did well, too.
Tomorrow we have a free Introduction Seminar in South Jordan at 10813 S River Front Parkway, Suite 300 at 10:00 a.m. MDT. Chris Pelissie will be teaching that seminar and we appreciate him filling in for us. Jerry and I will be out of town the rest of this week but Steffany and Don will send out stats since the balance of the week still has several good announcement times.
Attached is May's Boot Camp schedule. Please contact Lauren to get signed up at lauren@theexchangeut.com. Remember, once you've paid you're welcome to attend Boot Camp as many times as you would like to. Several people attend the whole course in the beginning and then retake parts of it when they decide to go live just to make sure they haven't missed anything. The cost is $249 for live classes and $199 for the webinar version.
This week's Long and Short of It talks about the 6 rules of trading and why some traders do so well and others do not. The Two Cents answers "Where's Bobbie?" but also gives you one of the coolest card tricks I've ever seen (a big Thank You to Mike Sorenson for divulging a 15 year well-kept secret): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TWCBVRt0hM
Have a good rest of the day, Amy
