Good Wednesday Morning -
Today is what's called "Fed Day". It's the day Ben Bernanke, the Fed Chairman, talks about interest rates and the possibility of raising or lowering them for banks which will happen at 12:15 today. Today is a very big day for the markets and so because of the magnitude of that announcement it tends to throw the rest of the day off, even the early morning announcements. So while there were high impact announcements predicted for this morning the market just didn't move very much. I did pull .75 points, Steff and Josh both pulled .25 points, and Don and Macey didn't trade. We will, however, all be trading at 12:15 because there is usually monumental movement. So I will send out a second email this afternoon that gives you that update and perhaps a screen shot so you can see what happened. This announcement only comes every 45 days so it's always a big one.
We do have an Introduction Seminar today in Orem at 10:00 and 7:00 at 1411 West 1250 South, Suite 300. We also have a 2:00 MST Introductory webinar. You can email Sydney at sydney@theexchangeut.com to register for any of these classes. They are all free and they typically last only 30 to 40 minutes, depending on questions. We would love to tell you more about this program and be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Here is today's link for The Long and Short of It which debates whether trading is gambling and the Two Cents tackles awkward elevator moments :

We'll keep you posted on the 12:15 announcement -
